it's sunday already

i'm used to this already. burning the telephone lines late at night and well into the early hours of the next day because of the various things i look for in the net and other stuff that just get my attention as i go along. as of now, i've finally saved all of the episode summaries and transcripts that were available (there were five seasons in all). while i was doing that, i've also opened some fanfics on daria. actually, fanfics were the first things that came to my mind to be able to learn more about the characters, then i thought, there should be some sites made by darians here. so there i was. and usually, it's better late at night because the pages tend to load up more quickly.

my goodness, my yahoo mailbox is filled way beyond its limit. its those darn yahoogroups that fill 'em up. too many posts by too many people. maybe i should stop receiving those emails and just browse the messages at the site.

i discovered a harry potter site for the filipino community. didn't know there was one until one member of the yahoogroup i was in gladly posted on the net that there was going to be some sort of convention for members of this community on may 28 - june 6 at the shang.

i'm also an hp fan, albeit i love the books and quite diss the movies. i hope the third installment will turn out better. hit the nearest cinema on june 2 for harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban now directed by alfonso cuaron, the one who also helmed the movie Y Tu Mama Tambien. i have wanted to watch this movie but haven't been able to have the chance.

i've only got one week more before classes start again. it's already on june 7 and i'm no longer a freshie. i'm now a second year and i hope the enrolment process won't be as tedious as what other upperclassmen i know have told me. i'm gonna leave home again and try to study as much as i could for the next semester. hopefully, i could go home every now and then to be able to use this pc and do what i can with all the files i got.

my cousin patrick who's been with us for a month already is going home tomorrow. he lives in bangued, abra, a province up north. well, he's been here long enough and his classes also start on june 7. he's the son of my mom's eldest sibling, her sister, and from what i heard a while ago, methinks there's gonna be a sort of reunion for us on my mother's side of the family tomorrow, coupled with a little shopping for the schoolyear.

daria

here i am again. i find that i have plenty to say since so many things have happened already and so many things are still stirring in my mind.

this afternoon, i was able to watch an episode of daria on mtv. when i first saw this when i was like ten years old, i so liked it. but then, i didn't know its showtimes so i just relegated myself watching it whenever i had the chance to see it. and watching it again this afternoon made me miss it. i wasn't a regular viewer but when i first watched it, i instantly loved daria and her witty humor and everything else that went with it. i didn't have the benefit of the internet back then so i wasn't able to update myself on what was going on with the series - btw, this is an animation - but now that i have, i've decided to look it up on the net. and sure enough, i found some sites dedicated to it. so i went straight to the episodes page of this site www.outpost-daria.com and found a complete episodes page by season with summaries and most of them coming with their own transcripts to boot. wow! when i see so much info such as this, i don't hesitate to open them all and save them on my hard disk to be read on a more convenient time. and just now, i found the episode i watched this afternoon. it was a season four episode entitled: "I Loathe A Parade". still love that kind of humor. there were even two movies.

how much i've missed. is there anybody out there who has some cd's of any of the episodes of daria? hope you'll let me borrow 'em.

psychic circle

it's now 12:10 am on my computer clock but that's like 15 minutes advanced from the clock here at home.

now, all's quiet here in this part of the house 'cept for the humming of the electric fan but this is just fine. i had wanted to post here but due because i couldn't think due to lots of noise, i only got to do so now.

so right now, before typing here, i've been surfing the net for info on the psychic circle. anybody there knows what it's all about? well, i've done three sessions of the circle with two of my friends - ice and jajo - and during our last session, i've asked questions and the answers given me have to be interpreted yet. i didn't get to stay longer to look up what the answers meant coz' it was night already and true enough, when i got home, my mom sort of scolded me on how late i am again.

the psychic circle..well, i do not really know much about it. we use a board w/c has words, letters, numbers and different kinds of symbols from zodiac signs to planets and others like the crying eye or angel, the four directions and the four elements. you might say it's like the spirit of the coin or the spirit of the glass but what i've been told is that here, positive energy is being used. and we talk to our spirit guides here, not just a mere spirit who happens to be around. every a person has one or more spirit guides, the average being five. so there are things to be done first before the circle is opened and then we place our fingers on a circular object placed on the center of the square board. somebody asks a question and normally, we should get answers.

now our first session was held here at our house after some hanging out. ice, i think, was the one who first learned about it and has already done it before with her other berks. so out of curiosity, i agreed to be part of the circle here. now, i didn't really believe in spirits and other stuff like that but well, the circle moved and answered her question. and it's not like one of us was pushing it. the circular object was quite heavy it would be very difficult to move it around; plus, it was not only moving towards the direction of where it went but it was also revolving on itself while moving around. now, that session lasted for like an hour or so and we were only able to ask around two questions.

surprise, surprise. last monday, i and jajo came to ice's house to hang out and do the psychic circle once more. and what amazed us from the very start was at the swiftness our questions were answered. they just kept pouring in as the object moved very quickly under our fingers. we weren't expecting this. this went on for about one and a half hour and the spirit guides just kept answering our questions or just asked us to open new ones when they would not answer the ones asked before. during our first session, the spirit guide was the first one who said goodbye - there's a place on the board for the word goodbye - but last monday, we were the ones who had to ask since we were out of questions already.

we did this again last wednesday and it was still the same. still the same venue - ice's room. that's gotta be the place we should hold it everytime we hold the psychic circle. well, i've asked some advice on what i should do to be more of use in the organization i joined in and the answer came through various symbols so i'm looking for a site to refer to. some straightforward questions were answered with yes or no, others with dates when we asked.

i'm still quite skeptical. now that there were dates mentioned, i guess i should just find out. i'm still not quite getting the whole thing about this

first post yipee! - getbackers char

i've been thinking about putting up my own blog for some days already. so here is my first post on my first ever blog --> fuNkysOuL <-- hmm... right now i've started watching the anime getbackers on animax. why now? coz' it was only now that we got that channel on cable. so i've been looking for more info about it, since i wasn't able to watch it from the beginning and there are still lots of puzzles when it comes to the story when, i chanced upon this quiz determining w/c getbackers character i am. and here's the result:

I am Fuuchouin Kadsuki.
Which GetBackers Character Are You?

some of you may not be familiar with the anime so here's the description that came along with the result:

You are like Fuuchouin Kadsuki!

You are compassionate, loyal, and would do anything to help your friends. You are cheerful and excellent company, and although it’s likely that you have only a small circle of friends, who are very close to you indeed. You are very resourceful, and can easily overcome any situation with a creative flair. Nevertheless, you should stand up for yourself more; don’t let your kind outlook on life allow other people to push you around.

i've not much to say right now. just that i'm quite excited that i now got my own blog. well, i'll end up here. ciao!
