let derby light

i was seriously thinking of buying collective soul's 7even-year itch album, a compilation of their hits. but then i couldn't find it at the records section of sm department store. i found cambio's derby light instead. this was last sunday, august 1. the day before, july 31 was our second exam in math 53. i've been whining on and on about wanting the collective soul cd so much so alessa told me to buy it already, as a reward after the exam, even if i did not do so well. just for the effort she told me, i should treat myself. i wasn't really into treating myself since i know i didn't do good at the exam. it was fairly easy but since i didn't study well, there were so many items i could have gotten right but didn't. anyway, i still had to go to sm (i left UP at 6 pm) because i needed some art stuff for my sigsheet - which up to now is still nowhere near becoming "jazzed-up" (a term used by some of the up subol mems - btw, jerwin, the up subol president had his birthday today. he's a 3rd yr favc student and guess what, he just turned 18! my gally!). at least i've already cut it up. now i just need the platform on where i can futher develop it. (nyaha!) hmmm...i've been winding for so long.. where was i? oh yeah. i went to sm, because aside from the art stuffs i've been meaning to buy but wasn't able to (couldn't decide - color, paper - they were too generic, wanted to bring out a side of me), i was also looking for a pair of short shorts to wear over my swimsuit. they were not so strict pala with the wearing of shorts. and since all the gurls in our class were wearing shorts, i bought one too for Php 99.00 at the surplus shop in the 3rd floor of the dept. store. it says on its label it's an organza shirt, colored blue. i found something close to a surfing short/ board short but then it wouldn't fit me so that's what i got. and going to odyssey would take up much more time so i didn't go already. the only collective soul album they had was dosage. then i saw cambio's. i listened to it. first track got me hooked already. and i was just listening to the intros. and i loved 'em. so i bought it. so much for the treat. anyway, i really love the band. sad thing, opm cds sell for 250-300 only while the foreign ones reach 400+. at least for buyers it's ok. hmm..i guess it's ok on the whole.



so i reached the public transport terminal at 8:30. i stood there in line until i got home at quarter to 10. there were just too many people and too few jeepneys. i wanted to go to sm again today but decided against it. i'll buy the album some other time ( i also want to have an original copy of a rush of blood to the head by coldplay, the kill bill and school of rock soundtracks, and miss saigon - yup found one in tower records at crossings dept. store. 2 copies on display. i also want jet's album. and other vcds - particularly the virgin suicides, my sassy girl, the crow, the godfather, these ones i haven't watched yet but i'm so interested in.) maybe this wednesday.
